Born in 1971, in a music loving family, Kinshuk started learning music at the early age of 6 from her mother, Late, Mrs Kanak Lata. She joined Bhatkhande College of Music at the age of 8. She took her music education from Late Prof. Prem Singh Kinot. She received State and National scholarships from the ministry of Human resource development, Department of Culture, Government of India, New Delhi. These scholarships gave her opportunity to take higher education in Music under Guru- Shishya Parampara from late Prof. Prem Singh Kinot. At present, she is a disciple of Ustad Gulshan Bharti, representing Lucknow Qawwal Bachcha Gharana. She has given many performances all over India and has received many awards and honours. She is a graded artist of All India Radio. Apart from a master’s degree in Economics, she is working as Professor in the Department of Performing Arts (vocal) in Banasthali University, Rajasthan since 26 years. She has composed many ‘Bandishes’ in many raags which are published as her book ‘Raag Madhurya’ Part- 1 and 2 with C.D. She has published many research papers and supervised many Ph.D. scholars. She is a member in the panel of experts for secret assignments of U.G.C., C.B.S.E, Higher Education Commission of U.P.(Prayagraj), Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Himanchal Pradesh and Rajasthan and judgement panel of Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy and AIU(association of Indian Universities)
